Long Response:

1. I feel that since the Amazon is such a large rainforest, the fires quite a large large issue.
2. Countries leaders should be allowed to refuse help from other countries because it's their country. They should be able to do whatever they feel is right as long as it's not directly detrimental to their country.
3. I am not surprised that the US hasn't helped yet because Brazil only wants money for putting out the fire, and that doesn't seem like quite the best idea.
4. If Brazil allows other countries to directly aid the extinguishing of the fires, I do believe that the US should at least lend some help.
